A generous gift from HIS HIGHNESS SHEIKH DR. SULTAN BIN MOHAMMED ALQASIMI, Al Qasimia University Library was opened in April 26, 2014 A.D. within the University's official inauguration, so that it would be the cornerstone in Al Qasimia University project representing the application of Islam's tolerant teachings upon which the Mission of the Emirate of Sharjah is based, and to serve as a landmark, a milestone and a bright light in Sharjah's journey towards knowledge and education.
Lying in the north to Al Qasimia University main building, the Library covers an area of 6.150 square meters,
and is divided into two main sub-buildings: -- The ground floor: it is dedicated for male students' Library.
- The first floor: it includes the female students' Library.
