Since its establishment in 2024, the College of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research at the university has been dedicated to advancing scientific research, scholarly publication, and graduate education in developing societies and enhancing capabilities. The college aims to promote leadership in scientific research, creativity, and innovation across various fields.
The college is responsible for aligning the university's objectives with the development plans of the United Arab Emirates, as well as the university's research plans. It works in collaboration with deans of colleges to implement these plans, and oversees the publication of journals and periodicals dedicated to specialized scientific research.
The college supervises the publication of the following journals:
- Al Qasimia University Journal of Shari’a Sciences and Islamic Studies
- Al Qasimia University Journal of Islamic Economics
- Al Qasimia University Journal of Arabic Language and Literature
Each journal has an independent international editorial board that reviews submitted research, accepts suitable articles for publication, and oversees the regular issuance of the journal.
The College of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research supports researchers by assisting them in publishing their research in reputable international peer-reviewed journals, organizing and participating in conferences, and awarding prizes to faculty and student researchers. It also offers various other awards to enhance the university's academic standing.
