​The College of Economics and Management was established in 2017​​ shortly after Al-Qasimia University began operations in 2015.  There is currently one academic department within the College, the Department of Economics.

The College offers an accredited undergraduate program, a Bachelor of Arts in Economics in Economics. Furthermore, the College is currently developing a Masters in Islamic Economics and we are also additionally planning to expand our undergraduate studies by developing a program in Islamic finance in due course. Our aim is to be a leading faculty of international excellence in teaching and research by integrating economics, finance and business imbued with Islamic values and ethics.
