We are pleased to welcome you to the College of the Holy Qur’an at Al Qasimia University in the Emirate of Charity and Giving, the Emirate of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates.
The College of the Holy Qur’an at Al Qasimia University is like a unique pearl as it is the first college to teach such speciality in the United Arab Emirates. It was established in 1438 AH, 2017 AD, by a noble decision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah, President of Al Qasimia University - May God preserve and preserve him. The College is to take full care of the Holy Qur’an, its qira’at, its sciences, its exegesis, and the existing studies about it reaching a sound understanding that lays the foundation to the values of goodness, virtue, tolerance, and cooperation. To achieve that, the college has a comprehensive vision that aims to create a change in Quranic studies programs following an academic outline that enhances the sense of belonging to the Arabic an Islamic cultures while encouraging global openness and supporting cultural diversity.
