An Overview of the Administration:

​​​​​​​​​The Information Technology Center is one of the departments responsible for providing academic support services at Al-Qasimia University. The administration has evolved from a small entity that supported individuals in their basic technological needs to a professional knowledge center that provides integrated solutions for students, academics, and staff. Its goal is to create an environment in which the university employs the latest available technologies to enhance the educational process.
 
The administration currently consists of the following departments: 
  1. Infrastructure and Networks Department
  2. Information Systems Department
  3. Computerized Academic Services Department
  4. Technical Support Department

Vision:
To fully computerize the work environment at the university and excel in providing information technology services and solutions to all users.
 
Mission:
To leverage modern information technology solutions in the development of education, learning, and work at the university with high quality.
 
Objectives: 
  1. Computerize the educational and work systems at the university and provide software solutions and applications for all users.
  2. Develop the efficiency of computerized systems at the university and fully utilize them to improve the performance of employees and students.
  3. Contribute to enhancing the quality of educational and administrative processes at the university by relying on modern and advanced information technology services to achieve the desired goals of various departments and users.
  4. Contribute to enhancing the efficiency of users at the university through continuous training and specialized technical consultations.
  5. Provide effective security systems for the computer network and information technology services and ensure the efficient management and operation of all systems.
  6. Organize the use of information technology services at the university.
  7. Develop the university's computer network, devices, and accessories.

In addition to providing daily technical support, the administration is responsible for selecting, implementing, and maintaining information technology systems and applications.
